Dear all,
SIF3021 Relativity and Cosmology Class of Semester I 2023-23024 Proudly Presents:

"The Celestial Symphony"
Time: Friday January 12th 2024, 10:00 AM
Location: DKF, Department of Physics
Free Admission
Theme:
"The Celestial Symphony" explores themes of intellectual curiosity, the
humility required in the face of new evidence, the evolving nature of scientific
theories, and the interconnectedness of scientific discoveries across time.
Synopsis:
In 'The Celestial Symphony,' Albert Einstein's life takes center stage in a captivating journey of discovery and transformation. From his mesmerizing lecture on relativity to his staunch belief in a static universe with the introduction of the cosmological constant, the narrative propels forward. The climax unfolds in Hubble's laboratory, where evidence of an expanding universe forces Einstein to confront his convictions. A humbling realization follows as Einstein discards his once-cherished constant, marking a profound shift. This short story encapsulates the symphony of intellectual resilience, humility, and the ever-unfolding cosmos within the tapestry of Einstein's extraordinary life.
Thank you very much.
