INTRODUCTION

Schedule wastes are defined as any waste that falls into one of the waste categories listed in the First Schedule, Environmental Quality (Scheduled Wastes) Regulations 2005, and the Environmental Quality Act 1974.

Laboratory Chemical Wastes are generated from research and laboratory activities and will require proper waste management of a variety of wastes which may contain a combination of hazard types such as biological, chemical, and radioactive hazards.

Both scheduled wastes and laboratory chemical wastes are required for proper handling, storing, labelling, and disposal management.
