Title: Thermo Scientific X-Ray Photoelectron Spectrometer Family

Here, we will introduce our X-ray Photoelectron Spectrometer (XPS) family. Generally, we have 3 models of XPS as follows: K-Alpha (entry level model), Nexsa, and ESCALAB QXi. Comparison of XPS capabilities for these three models will be provided and some of their application notes discussed.

About the Speaker:

Dr. Albert Ge attained his PhD in condensed matter physics from Fudan University. He had engaged in photoelectron spectroscopy and microstructures research of complex quantum materials, such as high-temperature superconductors, Mott insulators, spin liquid, and other low-dimensional materials. He has rich experience in electron spectroscopy and EM technologies, and has published more than 10 papers in first-class international journals, such as Nature Physics, Physical Review X, Science, and so on. Albert has been with Thermo Fisher Scientific since 2013, and now as a role of application manager to support the workflow application development with XPS/EM technologies, providing customers with on-site technical support and application solutions.
